The Adelante Program

Spiritual Life

Spiritual Life

Spiritual Life

Adelante contracts SSPX chaplains to provide the Mass and sacraments, as well as spiritual direction for the pilgrims and the development of the guides.

  • Dante's Purgatorio provides a manual through which the pilgrimage is understood
  • Mental prayer and self reflection are incorporated into daily life
  • Resolutions are created and accountability established

Leadership

Spiritual Life

Spiritual Life

Adelante strives to create young leaders who are able to produce change in their parishes and communities.

  • Jocko Willink's 12 principles of effective leadership are used as a basis for conversation
  • Leadership team presides over talks and discussions
  • During the pilgrimage, leadership opportunities are provided and  executed
  • Pilgrims are inspired to fill leadership positions in their communities, catholic and secular, post pilgrimage

Mentorship

Spiritual Life

Mentorship

Adelante strives to ensure its lessons are properly executed post-pilgrimage

  • Guides follow up and hold the pilgrims accountable to their commitments
  • Guides inspire young adults to form and execute their dreams, plans, goals, and actions with the Kingship of Christ and supernatural end foremost in their minds
  • Mentorship develops future guides to continue the program for decades to come
